commanded the morning
i have never had the luxury of telling the sun to rise or fall. i have never once told a bird to fall out of the sky or a bear to go find it’s den.
somehow i have still come to believe this world is here for me. that i am a gift to it and that i shall unwrap what i want of it and it shall only take what i give it and be thankful.

how does absence sound?
if your like me the word absence scares you. Anything having to do with a void is completely to be avoided.
When I hear of God being absent for 400+ years in Exodus it pisses me off. When I read Jesus quoting Psalm 22 I can’t help but think……oh dear, If he would leave his Son out to dry, and that Psalmist, would he also do that to me?
