I was playing tennis yesterday with my roomy David and happening nearby was a birthday party. the kids were playing along a creek that runs next to the tennis court and their conversations were filled with words that brought me back 20 years or so…and as a 27 year old you rarely have the chance to say things like that.

fruit of labor | cool stuff
i have often asked what the fruit of my labor is? your labor and the person in that lexus over there - what’s their fruit?
often times we look at work to be a lever of sorts, where effort is exerted and then an output is had at the other end. I, and my guess is most of us, tend to look at this as ‘things’; vacations, a good gym membership, designer jeans, an admired car, etc.
